Abstract :
A looped microwave radio system is designed based on reliability and design criteria applicable to power system operation. An unusual loop configuration is presented and the unique effects of looping on system noise, radio loading, and multiplex design are discussed in detail. These same effects should be considered by all who are contemplating looped systems.
