Abstract :
Lagrange´s interpolation formula is used, equivalent to the Fourier transform, to construct a Reed-Solomon code (RS code) with the same code rate as that of the RS codes suggested by Liu et al. (1977) over the same finite field GF(p). For implementation, the encoder is quite regular and the decoder is most likely the same as the time domain implementation of BCH codes
