Abstract :
A novel high-speed acoustooptic tunable (AOTF) driver and a stabilization controller have demonstrated for a wavelength-division/time-division multiplexed (WV/TD) optical network for video distribution in broadcasting stations. A switching response as fast as 6 μs satisfies the recommendation of Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) for video switching applications.
