  • Abstract
    Disagrees with the comments in the recent letter by Ohashi et al. (see ibid., vol.25, no.7, p.4 1989) that dispersion sensitivity has not been previously reported on for various alpha -index profiles in single-mode infrared heavy metal fluoride optical fibres. The authors have considered exactly the same parameter, dispersion sensitivity.
