  • Abstract
    An engineering orientated design methodology for model reference adaptive systems is outlined that allows the introduction of frequency-domain concepts into the design process. The psychological and technical justifications for this approach are discussed and the adaptive control problem is reformulated to take account of the proposed methodology.
