Abstract
Three Z80/S100 microprocessor systems were constructed and the appropriate software developed to accomplish the following tasks: rapid data acquisition from scintillation cameras, image processing, RIA analysis, and patient data retrieval. Multiplexing two byte memory banks permits the system to build 16 bit histogram camera images. These systems are distinguished by their low cost, portability, and complete interchangability. All three systems communicate freely with each other and with a minicomputer system.
