  • Abstract
    In tomographic reconstruction the "filter function" technique is frequently employed. A new filter, differing somewhat from that of Shepp and Logan is presented. Its derivation from an exact formulation of Radon, John, and Cormack is sketched. Some results of its use are compared to reconstructions using the Shepp-Logan filter.
