Abstract :
A rigorous model of electromagnetic interactions with multilayer anisotropic materials is presented. The solutions obtained with the model apply to nondestructive testing and electromagnetic shielding problems. The model permits each layer to have its own principal axis of orientation within the plane of the material with unique conductivities both along and transverse to the fiber direction. Experimental verification of the model is described
