  • Abstract
The nuclear physics group at the University of Illinois is in the process of developing a dataacquisition and analysis operating system for their Perkin-Elmer 3220 computer. All software beyond a modest-sized assembly language kernel is written in either Concurrent or Sequential Pascal. The implementation process and the current status of the project will be presented. Included in this discussion will be specific comments on the computer hardware and specific langugage features with respect to ease of implementation.
