Abstract :
I would like to talk about the hottest addition to the IEEE student contests. IEEE Xtreme is an IEEE Student Activities Committee (SAC) initiative creating a programming contest for IEEE Student Branches (SBs). It is a worldwide contest in which teams of Student Members, supported by an IEEE Student Branch, advised and proctored by an IEEE Member, compete against each other within a 24-hour time limit to solve a set of programming problems. Judges and organization teams stay online the entire time. Teams are required to stay logged on to receive problems throughout the competition.
