Abstract :
The magnetic flux density distribution in the magnetic core of a cloth transformer was calculated utilizing magnetic circuit analysis. Optimum winding patterns for maximizing coupling factors or voltage ratios at no-load and the relation of these to the shape of the magnetic flux distribution were found. A step-up voltage ratio of 19 was obtained experimentally
