  • Abstract
    This letter presents a computation of the response to the input step-modulated high-frequency signal of a single-stage low-Q factor amplifier detuned from the resonant frequency. The shape of this response depends on the detuning of the amplifier from the input-signal frequency and also, in a great measure, on the phase angle of the signal. A substantial overshoot appears as the detuning augments.
