  • Abstract
    Measured distortions of television signals and levels of harmonics and intermodulation products occurring in a 4-cavity klystron are shown to be in reasonable agreement with values calculated using the 2-cavity ballistic theory. It is concluded that the measured nonlinearity of the klystron is largely fundamental to its mode of operation.
