  • Abstract
    Although many papers have been published concerning the analysis of the threshold region of f.m. signals, they are all incomplete. The present letter introduces a new analysis, in which the carrier is modulated by a Gaussian baseband signal, and gives important results which cannot be deduced from previous analyses.
