Abstract :
The role of quality assessment in students´ software development projects is discussed, and techniques for introducing its practice into software engineering instruction are described. The techniques are described in the context of a course at the University of Texas at Austin. The course is summarized together with a series of quality assessment processes implemented in the course project. References to additional source material are provided
