Abstract
A transmission-line model is developed for computer-aided circuit design (CACD). The model is easily implemented using voltage- resistance sources in transient CACD programs. Analyses of a transmission line with and without a clamp-diode termination are presented. The model provides a straightforward means of including an accurate transmission-line model in any linear or nonlinear transient analysis routine.
