Within the IEEE Microwave Theory and Technique s Society (MTT-S) Administrative Commit tee´s Membership Development team (MD), we love talking about best practices. Actually, these include our collection of activities, events, and practices that became very popular in the past, simply because they seemingly worked really well. Chapter life, increase in membership, lively networking among members of a local area: these successes don´t usually come free or without some carefully organized steps of good-hearted volunteer(s). Luckily, we don´t need to reinvent the wheel, so to speak, when it comes to MD activities.
