Abstract
An I/SUP 2/L LSI chip is described that can control the machine functions of home appliances. Using linear-compatible I/SUP 2/L, no additional peripheral ICs, such as drivers for triacs and displays, are needed. The program sequence is stored in a mask-programmable read-only memory. In this way, program changes are easy. For the ROM matrix and the A/D converter, new configurations have been developed.
