Abstract
Describes a 4 bit expandable analog to digital converter capable of operation at clock rates of over 100 MHz in 8 bit systems under Nyquist limit sampling conditions. Essential to these high speeds are a fast (>5 GHz F/SUB T/) bipolar process and a design approach which takes every advantage of the components available.
