Abstract
This paper discussed few answers to some questions that can help guide selecting a tool for knowledge sharing across software projects. The answers to the five questions might be consistent among all software projects within an organization; therefore, the tool can and should be adopted at the organizational level and made available to all software projects. Many knowledge-sharing tools are conducive to organizational adoption, such as postmortem analysis, content repositories, and investment and portfolio management systems
