Abstract
This paper proposes a multiple bad data processing procedure for least-squares estimation of power system static state. The procedure is based on residual analysis by iterative deletion of suspected data and hypothesis test validation of the deleted good data. Comparision is made in algebraic, algorithmic and computational aspects with a recently proposed HTI method by Mili et al.[1]. The effectiveness of the proposed bad data processing procedure is demonstrated via serveral numerical examples simulated on the IEEE 30-bus system.
