Abstract :
Proposed is an efficient adaptive subcarrier selection algorithm to maximise the capacity of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) transmission with limited feedback. The proposed adaptive subcarrier selection algorithm makes it feasible to select subcarriers to maximise the capacity with limited feedback and low complexity, and furthermore provides higher capacity than that obtained by the water-filling approach by reflecting the effect of rate quantisation.
