  • Abstract
    The exact performance analysis for optimum combining of faded signals is a difficult problem in the presence of both interferers and noise. This letter derives exact closed-form expressions for the probability density function and outage probability of output signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio with a Rayleigh fading signal in the presence of additive noise and correlated equal-power Rayleigh interferers. These exact expressions are expressed in form of a determinant with entries of scalar variate hypergeometric functions.
