Abstract
The authors report investigations on the influence of low (≲65 Oe) magnetic fields on microwave absorption in several Y1 Ba2Cu3O7 powders at 2, 10, 22, and 35 GHz at temperatures varying between 1.3 K and 77 K. Even powders which show negligible zero-field absorption have a significant induced absorption at low fields. At low T there is a large frequency-dependent magnetic hysteresis in the field-induced absorption
