Abstract :
Image analysis systems perform measurements or quantification of features in an image. One of the most recently developed areas for the use of image analysis is industrial machine vision, in which the image analyser contributes to the automation of an industrial processing system. One such application is in guiding robots, the image analyser locates the part, checks its conformity to the required model and directs the robot to grasp the part or perform some operation on it
