High-frequency pulse decay in slightly detuned synchronous single-circuit amplifiers

The note contains the computation of the envelope, phase angle and instantaneous frequency response of a suddenly decaying high-frequency signal applied to the input of a multistage synchronous single-circuit amplifier. The general formulas and numerical results, obtained using a digital computer, are given for the case of detuning the resonance frequency of the amplifier from the signal frequency by the half bandwidth of the halfpower points.
