Abstract :
A rapid increase of the fluctuation of ionization yield in Xe+3%3He gas mixture irradiated with thermal neutrons is observed at density above 0.18±0.01 g/cm3 (8.3×1020 cm-3). The significance and possible explanation of this experimental observation is discussed.
