  • Abstract
    The letter describes investigations made into the electrical resistance of evaporated films of lead, tin, indium and gold, less than 600 mÃ… thick. It was found that lower-resistance films could be obtained if arrangements were made to reduce the accumulated charge appearing on the substrate.
