Abstract :
Antiparallel connection of two varactors in a multiplier as a means of efficient idlerless frequency multiplication by odd factors is discussed. For a tripler, the dependence of efficiency, output and dissipated power on input frequency is shown. A practical multiplier and its properties are described.
