Abstract :
Modeling and simulation in electromagnetic engineering are discussed. Fundamental terms and concepts, and challenges in model validation and verification and code calibration are reviewed. Time- and frequency-domain models are developed and calibrated. Typical calibration scenarios are presented where tests and comparisons against analytical as well as numerical models are done.
