Simultaneous transmission and reception with a common antenna

The problems involved in operating two or more equipments on one antenna are discussed and some methods are given for their solution. These involve the use of various types of linear passive filters. The particular type of filter to be used depends on the number of transmitters and receivers to be coupled, on the frequency separation between them, and whether the frequencies are to be fixed or variable. Practical information is given on how the various types of filters, may be constructed and used in the different frequency bands from 2 Mc. to 10,000 Mc.
