Abstract :
The letter is concerned with the problem of inverting complex matrices of the form (A+iB) which frequently occur in systems theory. In particular, sufficient conditions for the nonsingularity of (A+iB) are presented for the cases when A is singular, B is singular, and both A and B are singular.
