Abstract :
Digital control of blending processes with constraints has been mostly limited to steady-state solution. A recurrence method is proposed to allow a discrete feedback optimal structure based on an incremental model of the process where inequality linear constraints and pure dead times can be present. Residual mean errors are further reduced by an additional cumulative correction.
