Abstract
The introduction of reports in the form of structured, retrievable technical memorandums in a medium-sized to large-sized engineering company increases the esteem of workers while decreasing the reinvention process and minimizing the time spent by supervision for training and evaluation. The primary value of the technical memo is seen as that of thought clarification, which in turn requires clear writing. The implementation of such a system is discussed. The memorandum format is shown by example
