Abstract
The first Compumag conference was held in 1976 in Oxford, England and there have been nine conferences since then including the present meeting in Berlin, 1995. This paper attempts to highlight the main technical developments in computational electromagnetics during this period that have been reported in the proceedings of Compumag. Future trends are also discussed
