Abstract :
The numerical solution of Laplace´s equation in 2-dimensional Cartesian co-ordinates with mixed boundary conditions is described using the successive-overrelaxation method for solution, with the acceleration parameter decided by a method proposed formerly. Its effectiveness is compared with that of other methods.
