Abstract :
The field and power density distributions for the dipolar modes in a partially filled plasma waveguide have been studied at operating points in the vicinity of the plasma, the surface wave, and the gyro resonant frequencies. Results of both the quasi-static and exact analyses are presented. From the field distributions, the behavior of electrons at each resonance is clearly explained.
