Abstract :
A g.t.d. solution providing a smooth transition of the computed field through the penumbra is given for diffraction by convex bodies having a specified surface impedance. The Fock-type integral function which appears in the formulation is plotted for corrugated (or reactive) surfaces. The solution is used to predict the reduction of wide-angle radiation of a reflector antenna having a corrugated cylinder attached to the rim
