Abstract :
Video tape cassettes have become popular in the consumer market in recent years. With growth in international communications, television standards version is highly desirable. The major present television standards are 625/50 and 525/60 for scanning systems, and NTSC, PAL and SECAM for color systems (Table 1). Both systems are in concurrent use in the Middle East as well as for closed circuit video.
