Abstract
Car stereo sets have been increasingly used in passenger cars. However, in passenger cars there are several disadvantages for sound reproduction compared with listening rooms, that is, the acoustical effects such as the reverberant sound effects and the sound expanding effects are inadequate for the reasons that cabins are very narrow, and the left and right loudspeakers are usually arranged asymmetrically to the listeners and installed in restricted spaces. Therefore, it is difficult to reproduce live stereo sound in passenger cars.
