Abstract :
Recent progress in high-speed electronic computers capable of processing a great number of input data calls for the development of a high-resolution color display device. Among the proposed display devices, the cathode ray tube continues to offer many advantages and promises to be the dominant device for the foreseeable future. The resolution and picture quality of the cathode ray system, however, must be improved for this new application.
