Abstract :
Uniformly distributed noise is often added to the inputs of limiters, quantizers, and polarity correlators to decrease the effects of the nonlinearities. This paper derives the error autocorrelations of the outputs of those devices when the additive noise is not purely vhite, but is of sample-and-hold form as might easily be produced by a pseudorandom noise generator and a digital to analog converter. These error autocorrelations then permit analyses of the errors in the outputs of the analog filters which follow the limiters.
