  • Abstract
    The characteristic equation of a thin-wire helical line, wound on a latching ferrite cylinder, magnetised azimuthally to remanence and surrounded by unbounded homogeneous magnetodielectric is derived. Curves based on numerical solution of the characteristic equation for a variety of material and structure parameters and opposite directions of remanent flux are presented, showing the nonreciprocal behaviour of the system.
