Abstract :
An overview of a specific form of advanced intelligent network (AIN), rapid service delivery (RSD), is presented. RSD is the adjunct-based AIN architecture scheduled for regional deployment in the United States in 1993. The accounting management, fault management, data collection, network traffic management, and configuration management operations of AIN/RSD are outlined. AIN deployment and operations issues are discussed.<>
