Abstract
The theory of the complex initial susceptibility in the presence of a magnetic aftereffect (MAE) is treated, with special attention paid to the case of a MAE of the stretched exponential type. This case is of importance for the study of the initial complex susceptibility in complex correlated systems, which present an MAE of a nonsimple exponential nature
