Abstract :
The performance of a 2-element adaptive array by a maximum-signal/noise-ratio algorithm is investigated. It is shown that the cancellation of interference is a function of its correlation with the signal and of the noise both received and introduced by the array elements. It is also shown that if the interference has the same angle of incidence as the signal no interference cancellation takes place.
