Abstract :
LSE and LSM fields in generalized planar guiding structures are shown to be coupled only by means of the edge condition, which can be fulfilled as the final step in the analysis. This is utilized by applying the singular integral equation technique to finlines. Modes up to the thirtieth are thus easily and quickfy computed.
