Abstract :
A new synthesis technique is proposed for the exact design of general-order, lossless discrete-integrator (LDI) digital allpass networks having a follow-the-leader configuration. The main salient feature of the resulting LDI digital allpass networks is that they are minimal in the number of required digital multiplications, while being canonical in the number of required digital unit-delay operations. Moreover, they belong to the important class of structurally-allpass digital networks.<>
