Some proposals for improved forms of precision fast digital-analogue and analogue-digital convertors

Some proposed digitally adjusted fast d.a.c.s are described. These may be combined with the well known successive approximation principle to produce a.d.c.s with economical digital correction of their bit values. It becomes possible to envisage the self-adjusting fast a.d.c., capable of maintaining accurate linearity.
