  • Abstract
A series of miniaturized circuit breakers for precise control and protection of miniature components has been developed. Hermetically sealed units in one, two, and three poles were specifically designed for severe service environments. Selection of the hermetic seal eliminated many environmental problems such as moisture, corrosion, sand and dust, altitude, fungus, and explosion-proof tests. Two time-delay curves are available for each type of current, dc up to 20 amperes at 50 volts and 60 and 400-cycle ac up to 20 amperes at 240 volts. The designed operating range is from minus 40°C to plus 100°C.
